Anna Sukardi jewelry is manufactured in a small home based workshop in south Bali. Our traditional methods and attention to detail ensure that we maintain a consistency of quality whilst retaining the unique feel of a truly handcrafted piece.

Every stage involved in making our jewelry is done by hand by our group of craftsmen. The primary material used is cattle hide which has been processed into natural full-grain leather with excellent durability. This type of leather develops a natural patina over time and becomes more beautiful the more it is used. The natural grain of the leather is emphasised in the designs meaning that no two pieces of jewelry look exactly the same.

For our silver and silver/leather combination jewelry we use 925 sterling silver. As with the leather, the silver is crafted using simple hand tools in keeping with Bali’s long tradition of silversmithing. Every piece is truly handmade as we don’t do any casting.
